John is a great singing teacher. He helps students develop good foundational singing habits to be able to use the whole vocal range. John will unleash your singing potential, guiding you with daily vocal exercises and songs. Singing lessons with John are enjoyable too as John is a very relaxed, friendly teacher. My confidence in singing has grown so much since starting lessons with John.

John is a very patient teacher who takes the time and care to understand the needs of his students. He identifies and address the issues his students face, for example with with voice, pitch and technique, in order to enable us to enhance our vocal abilities.

I’ve been taking lessons with John for the past few months and he’s not only shown his extensive knowledge and experience in professional singing, but also has catered our lessons towards specific vocal concerns for me. I have found our vocal exercises to be extremely effective in not only reversing bad vocal habits, but also in improving my vocal technique steadily and healthily. He is also a friendly teacher who has been very patient with my progress which I really appreciate as it creates a comforting environment every lesson. Thank you John :))

I have been to countless singing tutors since i was a kid and i can say that no one compares to John. He teaches you exactly what the exercises you are doing does for your voice. He takes the time to learn what it is that you need to improve your voice and focuses on that. He is such an inspiring teacher and has helped me significantly improve since i have started. I have been having lessons with John for approximately two months. I have improved allot. His prices are very reasonable, especially for someone with his knowledge, background and experience. He has been very accommodating with the schedule times, as I work shiftwork, and is willing to organize lesson times around that. He wants the best for his students, isn’t out to get your money, he gives you lessons, then you get homework. My pitch and timing have improved allot in a short time thanks to John. I highly recommend him to anyone that would like to learn to sing.

I cannot rate John highly enough as an experienced music teacher. His advice is meticulous and supportive and most importantly, it is never generic (which other instructors can tend to do). Rather, it is highly applicable for me and my faults. John is always on task during lessons and explains my questions very patiently and intuitively. As a result, for someone who never thought they could sing, I am quite surprised by the steady progression I have made thanks to John and his diligence!. I also find that his vision for my lessons has a solid basis in his extensive experience in the performing arts. The lessons are hence rich in theoretical as well as practical content. As a result I find lessons very engaging and helpful, and my voice and musical thinking process has shown concrete gains as per my friends and family.
If you want to learn music properly, John is the best bang for the money, look no further!!

I’ve acquired knowledge in singing that I haven’t encountered before. His lessons are hard but definitely help you hone your singing skills and grow as a singer! Worth spending your money on!
