Singing Teacher and Vocal Coach John Rouvas, father of The Voice Australia 2019 Season 8 winner Diana Rouvas, is a performer in his own right.With a career spanning more than 30 years, John has shared the stage with some of the cream of the Australian Music industry and also many internationally renowned artists.

During his career John studied voice with opera great Maria Tauber and during this time was able to apply the principles of that vocal technique to popular music. Inspired by a genuine heart-felt desire to help people find strength in their vocal performance, John soon developed an organic and intuitive approach to singing allowing him to help people refine and bring out the best qualities in their voice.

John has had many years of personal experience as a Cabaret Performer, Musical Director, Song Writer, Band Singer, Guitarist and Singing Teacher, and was also involved in producing music track arrangements for singers and for production shows. His experience also included singing in various harmony groups over the years.
