Vocal Classes Singing Lessons Teacher
Vocal coach John Rouvas, father of The Voice Australia Season 1 finalist Diana Rouvas, is also a performer in his own right. With a career spanning more than 30 years, John has shared the stage with some of the cream of the Australian Music industry including Marcia Hines and internationally renowned artists including Tom Jones.
During his career John studied music with opera great Maria Tauber and during this time was able to apply the principles of that vocal technique to popular music. Inspired by a genuine heart-felt desire to help people find strength in their vocal performance, John soon developed an organic and intuitive approach to singing. Not only was he able to help people refine the best qualities in their voice but he was able to teach people how to gain power safely over time.
Backed by years of personal experience combined with his unique training regime it was John’s method that would nurture his daughter Diana, ultimately turning her into the supreme vocalist that earned her a place in the top 5 of the ARIA Award winning The Voice Australia TV show.
